Your Library Card

Who can get a library card, how to apply, and how to use your library card.
    • Any one 8 years old and older is eligible to get a libray card.  
    • At the circulation desk, ask the librarian for a card.  She will hand you a application form to fill out.  Have available your birthdate, address, phone number or cell number.   It will only take a few moments to get you into the computer system with all library privileges. 
    •  You must sign the back of the card with your name. 
    •  Try to keep the card handy for all check-outs.  
    • Try to remember your number, duplicate cards cannot be reissued if lost
    •  A special form must be signedby a parent or legal guardian for minors to use the computer.
    •  Papers describing our library hours,Collection and Services, loan periods and overdue fees policy , Computer and Internet Terms of Use, Unattended Child Policy, State Law Regarding Retention and Theft of Library Materials will be handed out to the new card holder.
