Use a Computer

The library has public computers with Internet access. This describes what we have and how to use them.
  • We have 9 computer available for your convenience
  • The computers are located in the Teen Zone area, but are for use by any patron.
  • We have a time limit of 3 total hours per patron for one day.   If an adult comes in to do work on a computer and all computers are in use, we will ask a child who is just playing games to kindly let the adult use the computer for a time.   First come, first served and first to be asked to relinquish time.
  • Each individual wanting to use a computer must sign in at the circulation desk.   On the sign-in sheet, please select a computer-write down the Computer#, write down your name and time logged in and when you are finished, be sure to log-out with your time.
  • Do not SAVE any items to the computer.   Our computer system will delete everything on a nightly basis and be fresh every morning.
  • You must be 8 years old to be on the computer alone.   Anyone younger than that has to have the parent with them at all times.  We strongly discourage younger patrons from using the computers.
  • Parental permission is required for patrons 8-17 years old.
